THE EDITORS OF THE SPRINGER BOOK SERIES WELCOME YOUR PROPOSALS ON WOMEN IN THE HISTORY OF PHILOSOPHY AND/OR SCIENCE!
The history of women philosophers stretches back as far as the history of philosophy itself, yet the contributions of women philosophers have been sidelined. The book series Women in the History of Philosophy and Sciences, edited by Ruth E. Hagengruber, Mary Ellen Waithe and Gianni Paganini and published by Springer, aims to recover this rich history. Volumes so far have included work on methodological reflections, women in phenomenology, women in philosophy and science, and individual philosophers like Edith Stein and Elisabeth of Bohemia.
The recovery of women philosophers’ thought is an ongoing project that requires a broad range of ideas and innovative work. We therefore welcome your proposals on future volumes of the series related to women in the history of philosophy and/or science. If you are interested in contributing to this series, please send a 1-page description PDF of the project via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or to email@example.com. Kindly do not submit full manuscripts. If your proposal fits this series you will be contacted by the Editors-in-Chief with further instructions for submission of a full proposal.
